We are Kirsten, Sarah, and Ashley. Currently stay at home mommies, we share a love for creating. Our inspiration for this blog came after the births of our youngest daughters, Marli, Chloe, and Ella. The idea for Marchlela began after we finally decided to share with the world our love for creating-- whether it be organizing a linen closet, making a yummy treat or sewing a baby’s dress. Our goal is to bring "grandma's" way of doing things back into every household. It's easy to get caught up in the everday hustle and bustle, which in turn makes us less appreciative of the simple joys around us. If we just set a little time aside to learn to sew a button, or bake a homemade pie crust, then maybe each of us would enjoy the day that much more.
With that said, as stay at home moms, it becomes an internal challenge to define ourselves. No matter how much we cherish every moment with our children, we begin to lose our identity. Marchlela Vintage is merely a medium for which we can create, and share, and in turn gain back a bit of individuality As Antione de Saint-Exupery once said, "True happiness comes from the joy of deeds well done, the zest of creating things new.” We hope that you enjoy!

P.S. The name Marchlela comes from three letters of each of our daughter’s names. Since there are the three of us, I think that three will be our lucky number. Seems right!
I have read this over and over and over again......love it! couldn't have said it any better....
